What to include in a cosmetic OEM quote request
Give each supplier the same brief so that their proposals can be compared. Mark undecided details as open questions; a reference product communicates direction but does not establish a reproducible formula.
1. Product and customer
State the product category, intended user, use routine and reference texture. Separate must-have requirements from preferences.
2. Formula direction
Say whether you bring a formula or need development. List ingredient preferences, exclusions, fragrance and the claims you want reviewed.
3. Container and carton
Specify fill size, container format, closure, decoration and carton requirements. Formula and packaging need to be reviewed together.
4. Quantity and budget
Give a target quantity per SKU and a budget with its currency and scope. Ask for component minimums and any unused packaging commitments.
5. Market and timing
Identify where you plan to sell and your requested launch date. Ask the team to identify testing, documentation and schedule dependencies.
6. Sample acceptance

For a private label serum or moisturizer, record the finish, fragrance preference and dispensing format. For shampoo or a scalp care product, specify rinse-off or leave-on use, application area and applicator requirements. What is cosmetic OEM?

What is the minimum order quantity for cosmetic OEM in Korea?
